Our new art by V. Steiner was meant to serve as a reminder that most of us are invasive to these wild lands that we now call home. Just like the Burmese python, Dioscorea bulbifera or red lionfish, humans have spread rapidly across Florida's once untouched prairies, forests & waterways & we've forever changed the environment, economy & even each other. But it's not too late to reverse some of the damage done. By maintaining the mentality that we are all guests here, we can start leaving places better than we found them & respecting the animals, plants & people who have been around way longer than we have.
